And aerial photography is a striking element that can easily impress investors or generate excitement about new projects among existing employees. Generic, static renderings of the past now come alive with an immediate bird’s eye view from hundreds of feet above ground.
During construction, it’s also important for project managers and superintendents to have a set of eyes constantly monitoring schedules and resources. Using regular flight footage, drones can quickly monitor daily progress and material levels, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget. Drones are also capable of efficiently accessing difficult or dangerous areas, eliminating undue risk for crews and subcontractors.
